Privacy
The short version: we collect the little we need to talk to you and do your project, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it any time.
What we collect
Your name, your email, and the project details you type into the interview or a message. If you pay a deposit, our payment processor handles your card directly. We never see or store card numbers.
Your progress through the interview is saved in your own browser, not on our servers. Clear your browser data and it is gone.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, scope and price your project, and do the work. That is the whole list. We do not send you marketing you did not ask for.
The chat on this site
We do not train AI on your business information or on anything you type into the chat. It runs on Anthropic’s API, and Anthropic’s published policy states that it does not use business inputs or outputs sent through that API to train its models. We do not train anything on your messages either.
There is no database of conversations. What you type stays in your browser while you use it. Two copies leave it: each message goes to Anthropic so a reply can be generated, and if you ask for a person, the recent part of the conversation is sent by email to Donald B. Havery. We keep that email for 12 months and then delete it. He is the only person who reads it.
Do not type card numbers or passwords into the chat. We will never ask for them. Payment happens on a hosted checkout page where the payment processor holds the card details and we do not see them.
Files you upload through the project intake are kept for the length of your project and for 12 months after it ends, then deleted. They are used to build your site and for nothing else. We do not show them to another customer, and we do not use your project as portfolio material without your written permission.
Who else sees it
Only the tools we use to run the business: our email, our website host, and our payment processor if you pay a deposit. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job, and none of them get it to sell.
Your choices
Email us and we will show you what we have, fix anything wrong, or delete everything we hold on you within 30 days. The one exception is records we are required to keep for invoicing and tax purposes, which we retain and use for nothing else. No forms, no hoops. Reach us at contact@angrynirds.com.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we update this page. It is run by angrynirds, a small studio led by Donald B. Havery in the Portland, OR metro.
